Formation: God V

The second block of four in our Formation series for 2017.

In this next 5-session Formation series we are going to be focussing on the topic of 'God'.  For many Christians, our faith in Jesus goes with the assumption that God intervenes in our daily lives in a variety of ways. We pray for God’s action, healing and guidance. We ask God to speak to us. But for many of us, big questions also sit under the surface. Does God actually answer these prayers, and if so, which ones? And what do we do with all our unanswered prayers, with our disappointments and pain? How do we negotiate all of this without seeing God as a miracle genie and automatic blessing dispenser, or as far away and unconcerned, or as untrustworthy, or without getting fed up and ditching God altogether?

Session 5 of 5

Registration is $20 and covers all 5 sessions in this block.
