People Groups
People Groups are one of the primary ways in which we practice community here at Edge.
We value authenticity in our relationships, but relationships need a context to grow and develop. People Groups provide this opportunity, along with the chance to meet new people. Here you can go beyond the Sunday ‘hello’ and learn to share in life together – and really get connected into Edge community life. For these reasons we encourage everyone who calls Edge home to get involved in People Groups. There are many flavours and expressions, with something to suit everyone.
People Groups: where we practice community, encourage mission and develop Spirit life.
We have People Groups, of the kind which meet in people’s homes (lounges and dining rooms), running all over Auckland, on a weekly, fortnightly and occasionally basis. They come in a variety of ‘flavours’ – with something to appeal to everyone! Some groups eat together, some study the Bible, some pray, some talk about life – and some do all of the above!
